The survey area of the City/County of Denver, rather than the Metro area, was chosen due to sample size considerations.  The City/County of Denver’s median household income is $42,426.  79% of the population has a high school degree or higher and 29% have a bachelor’s degree or higher.  46% of the population lived in the same house 5 years earlier.  However, 27% of children under the age of 18 years and 13% of seniors are living in poverty.
